My goodness, yes to all this. I cut my "outside voice" teeth in clinical research - as executive management. My voice was valued and authoritative. Inside the Church, however, my voice is not nearly as well regarded (despite having enough credentials friends refer to me as "alphabet soup"). It should not be this way and it is not scriptural. And women being weaponized against other women due to poor teaching and theology is awful - and I've been on the receiving end of that, too. Grateful for this post and these thoughts.

My heart breaks over and over as I read your words. I of course have some of my own stories, which I hope to tell. But let us work together to restore the vision of men and women as co-laborers for the gospel!
